The Larry King show is still on? Isn’t that the Art Bell’s version on TV?

Larry King used to be a fairly good interviewer; however he has become a supreme brown-nose. At least Charlie Rose will disagree with his guest; King just fawns all over him.

When King was on late-night radio, he was a lot better. Never been a tough interviewer though. That’s why people watch him, I guess.

I watched it for a while, then got sick to my stomach. That happens when I watch Bush on TV.

The point to watching the interview (sic) was listening to Bush spout nonsense. He want’s to be remembered as the president who made the right decisions, not the popular president. The pablum interview really showed a side of Bush many missed by not watching him. I had a hard time keeping from laughing.

Too bad yall chose to ignore something you may have got a serious education as to just how shallow this person really is. I’m afraid your chance at this is past, unless the transcript is available on the internet.

There is a link to the transcript in the header up there JM.

I did intend to watch it but missed it. Reading through the transcript bush comes across as a stuttering happy fool.

King shoulda threw a hammer at him!

Bush is just a Coca-Cola Cowboy. I don’t think Bush is an idiot, but he sure isn’t the right person for the job.

He should be a middle manager at some mid-cap company, not be the President.

Other than that! I know you guys hate him, but I’m getting sick of all the Bush Lynching. I get it! He sucks at his job, but he isn’t going to bring down America.

America has already been BROUGHT down.

The big brother government taps our phones without warrants, peruses our financial transactions at its leisure, is governed by a religious cult that wants us all to be clones of each other with NO differences, voting fraud taints our elections worse than third world dictators, the richest of the rich raid the public treasury and are amassing wealth at record rates while the conditions of the poor get worse every year, the presnit is above ALL law, …

…and church and state are no longer separate.

hehehe. And some of you think the terrorists HAVENT already won?

    Well

First kudos the the Eds for getting us an asked for thread and providing a transcript of the bush interview.

Intrepidly, I am desperately trying to stay awake while I view the rebroadcast of the bush interview. So far, it is much as the transcript. Dif is, you can see the awkwardness of bush. You can see the lies in his eyes.

One more before my final take.

Bush sits like an awkward child. He shuffles his feet. He slouches in the chair. When his wife speaks, he does not look at her. He looks off in the distance. bush does not use his hands when he speaks. This suggests lack of passion for what he is saying.

bush looks like he is impatient for the interview to be over. As Laura answers questions, bush looks pained. It is almost as if he is hoping she will not say the wrong thing.breakbush is dismissive of Al Gore. He is VERY defensive but not credible as to the environment.

Viewing the interview confirms my take the transcript. bush is a bumbling fool. One wonders how bad he might have come off had he been faced with REAL questions.
