Morris cares too much

Kansas State Board of Education member Connie Morris of St. Francis played the martyr in a recent campaign letter, saying that she is shocked “that liberal activists who controlled our school system for years would stoop to childish behavior.” She added: “I have been called every name in the book and have put up with endless personal attacks and insults. Sometimes that behavior has made it difficult to justify continuing to serve on a board that pays less than $6,000 per year.” Actually, the job pays a lot more when you include the trip to a Miami resort Morris tried to stick taxpayers with. But never fear — Morris concludes that she is running again because she truly cares about our children’s future.

This post provides a stark comparison with the previous post about Morrison taking a $40,000 pay cut if he beats Kline this fall. Some people find nothing good to say about someone who makes such a decision about public service, and then clap and hoorah someone like Morris who has several times spent taxpayer money on projects or trips that are purely personal. Regardless how you feel about conservaive vs. mainstream political issues, can’t we all agree that candidates making decisions to pursue political office which will not increase their bottom line deserve praise whereas candidates like Morris who has proven time and time that she tries to improve her bottom line by accessing public money deserve our universal condemnation?

The names Connie Morris has been called are ones she deserves. Her ambition is not the children of this state but the indoctrination of the children with religious the views she holds. She is one of those born again types who think they are the one and only who hold the key bringing Christ into the lives of public school children. She is totally aware of the fact there is a separation of church and state for good reason, yet she chooses to disregard that fact, and in doing so is lying to the public about doing so.Lying, Connie, is a sin. You are disregarding the commandments of God by lying to the public about your intents, and that makes you not only a sinner but a hypocrite as well. You don’t deserve to hold an office that has anything to do with the education of the children of this state. If you believe God is on your side, my He see fit to step in and trounce you in the coming election

It’s public office. It isn’t pretty and you are always going to be slings with personal insults. Comes with the job.

By her own admission shes, acid freak, free lovin, homewrecker. And that’s before she was on the BOE and all the boneheaded stuff she done on the board. Anyone that loses to her must be pretty pathetic indeed.

Poor Connie will get her ‘reward’ in the after life. Thank God she is such a caring, giving saint.

Or maybe she’s a total hypocrit who really isn’t capable of fathoming Christ’s REAL message. You know, the red letter stuff.

A vote against Connie is a vote against God!

Even if she gets voted out (and I’m not convinced she will), the Kansas Taliban zealots are going to keep on coming. Keep in mind, we ran these idiots out before, but thay came back. If we don’t watch them constantly, the crazies will just keep coming back.Beating them in the election isn’t enough. We need to consider a wooden stake through the heart.

XXX,After the stake, you need to bury them at a crossroad at midnight, face-down, and with oak branches pinning the body down. That should keep them in the realm of the dead.

I wonder where the next “charter school” conference will be held?

Probably not where she can get a free trip on fraudulent travel vouchers to a vacation destination spot where her daughter lives and her hubby could tag along…

    heheheheheeh

    Connie?

    I’m a single parent.

Please do not worry about the future of my kid! If you want to do something for him, get as far away from the school system as you can.

I hear Mars is nice this time of year!

O Connie, dear Connie, so sorry to see you go. May your days be filled with self-doubts and internal recriminations. May your hypocritic ways follow you to the ends of the earth, and may you never be elected to any office again, as you never deserved to be elected in the first place.

Start a new church, sell cars, sell pencils on street corners, buy a new hat, eat a hamburger at Mickey D’s, greet people at Wally World . . . you get the picture.

Bottom line: there is a God.

    Look at it this way.

Now you will have PLENTY of time to go about demanding pictures of the Flying Spaghetti Monster be ripped from classroom doors!

Oh, but you won’t be able to justify it in any official capacity…..

    Sorry…

    Umm…..uhhh

    ..and the sad part?

She probably got voted out because she lied about some fraudulent travel vouchers, not because she wants religion taught as science.

Whatever. We take what we can get.

    RAMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
