Dancing with the enemy?

Maybe President Bush will calm his criticism from the right with his veto of the embryonic stem-cell bill. But the conservatives’ upset increasingly extends to foreign affairs, according to The Washington Post. Many think the administration has been too timid and too confused in dealing with North Korea, Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich puts it this way: “We have accepted the lawyer-diplomatic fantasy that talking while North Korea builds bombs and missiles and talking while the Iranians build bombs and missiles is progress. Is the next stage for Condi to go dancing with Kim Jong Il?” he asked, referring to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and the North Korean dictator.

Kim Jong had better wear them high heels because my cousin, on my father’s side, is a tall drink o’ water.

She ain’t really smart enough to be a college president, but she is smart enough to make some serious oil money. Girl, don’t be so uppity, we know how you did it.

Arcturus-I don’t agree with your inclusion of Hank Price on that list. You may not like what Hank has to say, and sometimes I don’t either, but he has reasons for what he says, and they are worth considering. You don’t learn much from those you agree with!

Gotta back gster on the Hank Price hit. Hank never wavers in his beliefs, neither does Nathan, who I believe is just Nathan and no other poster. He doesn’t need to post under another name. Like father and son on those two, and that ain’t a bad thing.
