Canfield’s anniversary card

GOP gubernatorial hopeful Ken Canfield told The Salina Journal that if he becomes governor, he’ll send every married Kansas couple a congratulatory card on their first anniversary.

    What if it’s a gay couple married in Massachusetts that is living in Kansas. Will he send a card to them?

    What is it’s a married couple that gets divorce within that 1st year?

    I guess this card ploy will get him more votes.

    Honestly, for those who are hard core Conservatives. This guy has no business being the governor of Kansas.

    So, in unlikely event that Canfield DID get elected, would he be sending out these anniversary cards himself outta his own pocket? Or does the state get to pay for the silliness?

    If this guy is gonna send out anniversary cards don’t bother with 1 year anniversaries. Send them out for 50th, 60th, 75th anniversaries. It takes a lot of love and patience to ‘put up with’ someone for that long.
