Sounds like quite a party

Will the defining issue for conservatives in the fall congressional campaigns be immigration? Gay marriage? How about both at once? New York Times columnist Frank Rich noted that Vernon Robinson, a Republican challenging Democratic Rep. Brad Miller in North Carolina, has an ad that warns, “if Miller had his way, America would be nothing but one big fiesta for illegal aliens and homosexuals.”

Let us just hope there are no homosexual illegal aliens! I hear that the boggy man is available too! But of course we still have those homosexual terrorists to think about, this is the way to go! Do not appeal to the people’s logic appeal to their fears. Everyone has some fears, some maybe lacking when it comes to logic.

Or the Democrats can use the scare tactic that Bush and the Republicans are the terrorist and they hold the office illegally.

It’s not just the democrats who have already figured that out.

Why don’t both parties show a little backbone and offer solutions to real probelms such as gas prices affecting the economy, jobs leaving the U.S., etc. I know of no one out of hundreds I deal with who are concerned about homosexual marriages. Would someone just please focus on some real issues for once in their political life.

Common, because that isn’t what the majority of voters wants to hear. They’d rather focus on slime and wedge issues.

    Thank the media.
