Ben, how many birthdays?

Let me just say that today’s Garfield says it all. :)

For the first time, I’ll be taking advantage of that Sr. discount at the movie theater. My youngest and I are off to see X-Men3 tonight. (I’m still trying to figure out why I’m such an X-Men fan, but I love it! LOL)

Ian, don’t worry. I’d never live to eat the cake if I tried all those candles at once. ;)

Personally, I don’t see the big deal with the flag burning stuff, but at the same time I cannot see how making a law against it, infringes on one’s freedom of speech. It reads like a bad talking point. It seems as silly to me as saying Abortion is protected by a right to privacy, yet your bank is requried by law to report to the government any time you withdraw more than 10,000 dollars of your own money out of your own bank account. (If that isn’t an ivasion of privacy nothing is) Interesting I never heard a single pundent, activist or aditorialist have a tantrum when it was discovered that the insurance industry convinced (bribed) the NTSB to require “Black Boxes” be placed on your new car, without your knowledge and accessable only to insurance compaines and LEO’s.If you’re looking for an attack on freedom of speech, look at McCain/Fiengold’s incumbent protection act. Now, that is a real attack. Instead of attacking real and clearly blatent violations of recognized rights, we have all these obscure, and impossible to defend claims that make it to the surface. It makes no sense.
