Red state fancies its blue governor

Kansas’ seven GOP gubernatorial candidates are now on the stump, each trying to distinguish himself from the others and, most of all, explain why Democratic Gov. Kathleen Sebelius must go. But if Kansans are getting that last message, they aren’t sharing it with pollsters. The latest SurveyUSA poll credits Sebelius with a 64 percent approval rating, up from 61 percent last month and 51 percent last June. That makes Sebelius the 10th most popular governor in the nation right now. The question is whether it also makes her unbeatable in November.

I like Sebelius, although I wish she would be more proactive and lead a little.

But KFG! I thought you said: NO INCUMBANTS! Does that apply to Sebelius?

    NO WINGNUTS trumps NO INCUMBENTS.

Sigh. I am not going over this again.

If the republicans cant run anyone but wingnuts against governor leadership, they will continue to lose and it will be four.more.years.

If the r’s could manage, just once, not to nominate a wingnut for governor, I would have supported the defeat of the incumbent governor leadership.

But since the choice is between seven wingnuts and governor do nothing….

    NO WINGNUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

OK, in the Republican “tidal wave” of 1994, the (now known as incompetent President) G.W. Bush narrowly defeated Ann Richards in the Texas Governor’s race. She actually had a positive rating over 50% before the election; however, she actually had a high negative rating, as well. Well, she lost in Nov. 1994.

In Texas speak; stick a fork in it, it’s done. There’s no Republican tidal wave coming this November. Sebelius doesn’t have a high negative rating like Ann Richards did. As for thewingnuts that visit here, don’t label me as liberal college professor, as I’m a free market thinking independent.

But prof, anything left of dead eye darth cheney is considered “lib-ral” by these whiners. I guess that is why governor leadership keeps kicking their little whiney conservative asses. heheh.

They still cant out smart her. she knows how to reach their lame constituents better than they do. Only terry, joe and fred do a better job of pandering, and the last I heard, their candidate for gov wasnt doing so well.

Maybe we should ask susan “I make money from gambling but you cant vote on it” wagle how it is going?

Where oh where is ruby? Where is sotheysaid?

Well, I still can’t understand (or maybe I do) how Wagle and her husband can own Bingo parlors, yet 99.99% of the Kansas voters don’t have any clue of her motives. It’s the same as a Baptist preacher complaining about booze, yet owning a chain of liquor stores. I am an honest person and I just cannot stand Wagle’s hypocrisy on this matter. Yeah, run a yellow lab against her and I would vote for the yellow lab in this case. In fact, I’d rather pick up the yellow lab’s crap than listen to Wagle’s crap on the gambling issue. In comparison, Tom Delay back in Texas is probably more honest than Wagle here in Kansas (comparatively speaking, or course).
