What more leaders tap their toes to

OK, this trend of sharing famous people’s iPod playlists is getting old, but it’s a holiday weekend, so here’s what U.S. News & World Report said is loaded on Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid’s: Wilco, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr. and the Fruit Bats.
Unrelated to iPods, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice gave up a more eclectic list of listening favorites to the British newspaper The Independent, including Mozart’s Piano Concerto in D minor, Cream’s “Sunshine of Your Love” (good for working out, she says), Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” and Kool and the Gang’s “Celebration.”

They forgot to add that what Reid really listens to is himself.

Joe how is it going? I was hoping to meet you at the picnic. I plan on going to the next meet up. I hope you can make it. I enjoy your posts and you never fail to make me think. What you think is far more interesting then what someone listen to.

I’ve read a bit about the next one that suppose to be held on June 22. But I don’t know when and where.

I’ll try my best to make it there and most likely will.

Thanks for your kind comments. You’re cool too writerdog. You keep me on my toes.

U2 is probably my favorite band. I have almost all their music. (legally paid for)

I am also kind of an 80’s junkie too.

That is just the stuff I have been listening to recently.

I enjoy Duran Duran, Journey, Tears for Fears, Simple Minds…
