The altercation last week between Rep. Cynthia McKinney, D-Ga., and a U.S. Capitol policeman was bizarre. The policeman said McKinney hit him with her cell phone after he stopped her for trying to bypass the metal detector at a House office building without wearing the proper identification. And Monday, Capital Police sought an arrest warrant for McKinney.
McKinney initially said that she appreciated and supported the Capitol Hill police. But then she claimed during a press conference Friday (see photo) that the policeman inappropriately touched and stopped her, and her attorney said McKinney was a victim of "being in Congress while black."

Nice “Ace” you have there Cynthia.
Oh well! It’s the 4th District of Georgia’s representative. So I don’t care much.
Did she report this incident before or after the arrest warrant was issued?
BICWB? Doesn’t sound like it. Sounds to me like the police were doing their job. Cynthia McKinney claims the police’s job is to prevent terrorists from entering the capital. With her trying to bypass the screening, the police stopped her, which was their job.
Her crying racial profiling is a cop-out. She’s just another politician demanding to be treated above the poor folk on the street.
As for being in a district not important to Joe: all politics is local, Joe. You know that.
Mckinney is just another in a long line of never ending incidents that has been allowed to fester in this country like the plague. The “Politically Correct” juggernaut will be the death of this nation.
Our inability to protect ourselves due to claims of civil rights violations and crys of “wolf”, will be the slow death of this country.
It was just a policeman’s error. They’re supposed to be trained to recognize congresspeople. Bill Frist doesn’t get stopped. Tom DeLay doesn’t get stopped. Ted Kennedy doesn’t get stopped. Nancy Pelosi doesn’t get stopped.
After this incident, McKinney isn’t gonna get stopped either.
It would have been better for her to have said to the officer, “I’m Congresswoman McKinney from Georgia. Don’t let this happen again,” and then had her staff contact the chief of police.
The officer made a mistake. Congresswoman McKinney made a mistake. This incident isn’t going anywhere.
Next topic.
Let’s see….a black man shot a white guy at a Qwik Trip this week, and it is a crime. A white police officer stopped a black woman in DC for not having proper identification…and it is racism.
Sounds like the typical racist claims of the extremists. Just like when a white person is stopped for doing 45 in a 35 zone, that is a traffic stop for speeding. When a black person is stopped for doing 45 in a 35 zone, that is “racial profiling”.
Yeah. right.
According to CNN, this is not the first time this congressperson has had difficulties for failure to wear her MC (Member of Congress) pin that all congress members are required (by their own rules) to wear. The previous time was at the White House.
Her statement from the press conference was something like, “I am tired of having to prove who I am to white people”.
Sounds like she is an out of control racist who is using her elected office to try to bypass the rules everyone must comply with.
At the bottom of this we will most likely find that the officer in question is of a Republican bent and was taking an opportunity to abuse his authority.
Ya know, JR:
Despite our disagreements and your ranting fear, I used to take your comments seriously.
Then this:
“At the bottom of this we will most likely find that the officer in question is of a Republican bent and was taking an opportunity to abuse his authority.”
Please.
It’s clear I need only consider the source and, as with Ian, scroll on past.
Move on, folks. It’s only JR. Nothing of substance here.
I know that true racism still exists in our country but why is it that for many “minorities” when anything bad that happens is racism? The electricity was shut off not for non-payment but because of race. The line at the grocery store was slow because the “man” is just keeping them down.McKinney was in violation of the rules – she wasn’t wearing her pin. If she realizes that she “has to prove” herself to white people than she should be COURTEOUS about it. All she needed to say was “Excuse me, I’m Rep. Cynthia McKinney. (Please) Let go of me”. She should have reported the incident and been MATURE enough to admit any fault that she had in the incident (ie not wearing her pin). Perhaps one of her aides could bring down a few of her publicity pictures for the guards to memorize in case this occurs again.
You can bet that any event that allows white Republicans to call a black woman a racist will get media attention.
I think heartlander puts it nicely.
We almost all go through “rituals” of identification. Many corporations require employees to wear photo IDs. The guard sees this same person day after day, probably knows their name, knows what floor they work on, etc. This doesn’t relieve the employeee from going through the accepted and sanctioned procedure for identification. The same is true in lots of other situations.
If this woman is truly attempting to avoid security measures because she thinks she has the “right” to, or because the police have checked her enough to know her, or simply because she thinks it’s a racism-inspired ritual, then she’s sadly mistaken.
She needs to suck it up, wear her ID, and go through the ID procedure set up to protect everyone in that building and area.
Awwwww GMC
My heart is just broken.
You are after all SO well regarded here.
CF,Pullleeezzzeee . . . If the incident happened as reported, then it is racism by McKinney, should the guard be white. Too many times minorities have used the race card to cover violations of the law.
It is true that racism still exists; I have seen it too many times. But to say, “You can bet that any event that allows white Republicans to call a black woman a racist will get media attention.” is ridiculous.
Couple that with JR’s post, and what you get is a couple of way left liberals spreading the same kind of garbage the wingnuts are spreading. Ed has zionists under his bed, wingnuts have the devil under theirs, and you’ve got republicans under yours.
I suppose it’s possible that they genuinely didn’t recognize Rep. McKinney. It’s a little incredible to me, but then the TSA de-pantsed John Dingell a few years ago. . .
Elected officials DO often have an elevated view of themselves that is true.
They ARE often in a hurry.
MANY probably forget their ID or jump the line to get where they are going.
535 of these folks……Senators and Representatives.
Many more other government officials…….doing no doubt much the same.
And the ONE “incident” involves a black female particularly liberal Democrat?
Unh-uh.
This is more about the guard in question. He is either ignorant or malicious. Watch and see.
She is also a theif:
WASHINGTON — Rep. Cynthia McKinney admits that she broke government rules by spending money to fly a celebrity to Atlanta.
Channel 2 Action News has uncovered documents showing McKinney, D-Ga., spent about $1,000 of taxpayer’s money to fly singer Isaac Hayes to Georgia to help dedicate a new office in Atlanta.
The money came from a fund members of Congress are supposed to use for office supplies.
Using the money to pay for Hayes’ airline ticket and hotel expenses is a violation of strict congressional rules. Those rules state that taxpayer money can only be used for “travel by Members, Members’ employees and vendors. A vendor is an employee of a private company that provides maintenance and support for equipment and software…”
Watchdog groups call taxpayer-funded celebrity travel a blatant waste of taxpayer money.
McKinney staffers say they will reimburse the congressional fund for the cost of Hayes’ flight and hotel room.
JR:
Why thank you very much; I’m glad to know you feel that way. . .
I agree with heartlander – this was a stupid incident; both parties screwed up. It is stupid for the cop to escalate it; that will only lead to further confrontation.
When did she change her hair? She doesn’t look like the same person!
Sorry, she now looks like “Buckwheat”When i see her now, I want to yell…..”OHHHH TAYYY!! :-)
What ever happened to “Buckwheat”?
M Dawn…Buckwheat was last seen playing professional basketball in Iran under the name of “Karem-a-Wheat………………
OMG!!! Perv boy is actually talking about a subject that doesn’t envolve crude, rude and socially unacceptable behavior!! As much as I didn’t want to I actually had to laugh at his little joke about “Karem a wheat”!
J M Walker,
Considering M Dawn’s mockery of Representative McKinney, I’d say I was right.
Remember, these are the same capital cops who arrested Cindy Sheehan at the SOTU address and then let her go the next day saying it was all a mistake made by them!! They sound infallible to me… Of course they must be right on this one!
I dont suppose this has ANYTHING to do with the republicans censuring her on the house floor after she commented that the 2000 presidential election was the “coup d’etat” of the United States! They have been harrassing her ever since.
I think she is great. I think it is sad that you all make fun of her hair or her appearance. You wouldnt be doing it if she was a man.
I find her attractive, and so do the people who elect her. Expect her to be re-elected and be a pain in your asses for years to come!
And she clocked the guy with her cell phone? OMG, send in the troops! After he grabbed her? I havent seen anywhere that it was a “tap on the shoulder”.
She is ALLOWED to go around security, just like the other memebers of the house.
If it had been some fat white guy with a bad combover with nothing but a flag lapel pin on his suit, no one would have said a thing. But a black woman bypassing security? I sure would like to know how many OTHER people were grabbed as they legally bypassed security. Or even STOPPED when they did it.
Call in the troops. Heheh. Cynthia is on the loose in the capital. I sure wish we had concealed carry there!
“McKinney staffers say they will reimburse the congressional fund for the cost of Hayes’ flight and hotel room.”
Given the abramoff scandal, I think this doesnt even amount to a pimple on a gnats ass. If this is the worst they can say about her, I am laughing my butt off!
And she is repaying it, just like Connie Morris is repaying her illegal travel vouchers.
And it isnt like she accepted a lobbyist funded junket to scotland like so many congress people got from abramhoff. OR that she got tainted ralph reed money from the christian coalition.
Double standard anyone? Or is that just the smell of a rotten red herring?
farmgrrl…correction.. you said “you all” are making fun of her hair. I see one post making fun of her hair, and it wasn’t me!
Go figure that this thread was started by Phillip (I never met a conservative I didnt love) Brownlee. :)
I wonder if we will get a thread on Tom Delay this afternoon?
Probably not if they let phillip make the choice.
KFG,I think ANYBODY that is caught stealing from congressional funds be it like McKinney or Abramoff should have to pay back double the amount that was stolen and write a personal letter of apology to the other members of congress!!! Be MATURE and admit when you are wrong and apologize to those you hurt. (Dang, I’m having a mommy moment here)
I second ksfarmgrrl: can we get a Delay thread? Oh PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEPLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEPLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE–can we get a Delay thread?
Oh please?
sam, I didnt mean you personally.
“you all” is a generic term directed at those making fun of her hair. If anyone did not do that, it isnt directed at them.
There were posts yesterday about her hair, and on different threads as well. That is why I didnt single anyone out.
Sorry, but this subject is personal for me. My ex in Austin is a very attractive african american woman and a well respected attorney. When she kicks the good ol’ boys’ asses in court, the first thing they make fun of is her african american hair.
When she attended my mom’s funeral, after driving all night from texas, the talk around here was my negro friend and her wild hair. It wasnt wild at all, and the suit she wore probably cost more than the houses those toothless hillbillies live in!
She came to visit me last thanksgiving, and all she wanted to do was visit dodge city and boothill. Big eye roll here, but she does love gunsmoke re-runs, so we went.
On the way home, we passed through Ness City. They have some really cool old buildings there, and we love old buildings, so I suggested we drive around slow and I would show her and her friend, another white woman, around town.
IMMEDIATELY, we were followed by a local yocal cop. She said “you just watch, he is going to pull me over”. I said no way, we arent doing anything wrong, and anyway, people really arent like that here.
Guess what? The jackass pulled us over on some lame excuse that we had something DRAGGING under the car that was causing sparks. OF course, when we made him crawl under the car, he found nothing.
I think it was when she showed him her Texas Bar Card that he backed off. And after I noted that his boss, the Ness County Sheriff, was one of my high school classmates. And that I was a county official in a neighboring county. Otherwise? That redneck would have ruined our entire evening with his petty bullshit.
I was completely embarrassed to be from kansas that day. And I was proudly showing off my state to guests. You can bet THAT will never happen again.
Yeah. Shit like what happend to Cynthia NEVER happens in reality. IT NEVER happens in Kansas.
Kansas…truely as bigoted as you think.
Nathan asked for a thread and got it the next day.
I do not think we will have any luck getting Nathan to ask for a thread to the De Lay matter though.
De Lay thread please.
Julie, I am consistant here in outing lies and the lying liars who tell them. I am consistantly in favor of honesty and accountability. Of course she should do the right thing. admit it was wrong and pay back the money. I think that is what she did.
But to damn her for $1000 while the big boys pocket millions is just assinine. Proportion. Connie MORRIS stole more money from the state of kansas!
If this is the best they can come up with, she’s damn near a saint by republican standards, no?
Gosh, if CF, JR and I are asking for a particular thread, you can BET there wont be one.
Nawwwwww. We’d rather talk about McKinney’s hair than the REAL crimes committed by delay, ralph reed, abramhoff, conrad burns, duke cunningham, john cornyn, etc.
Yeah yer probably right KFG.
SO LETS HIJACK THIS ONE!
The subject is now comparative scancal.
Let’s see what the cons can bring to the table while we discuss Mr. De Lays sudden decision to quit the field.
There’s a difference between actual and perceived racism. This incident is simply a clear cut example of perceived racism. It’s ok though, you can’t blame her for being incapable of escaping her “ghetto-mentality.”
Scandal that is.
Rage, I am laughing about the John Dingell incident. And they put Ted Kennedy on the no-fly list!
Did you all know that Frank Smith, the guy who outed Connie Morris and her theft of travel money, was also placed on the no-fly list?
He has had a couple of run-ins with tanker todd, and suspected him of putting Frank on the no-fly list.
But of course, it is all about national securtiy, dontcha know!
ksfarmgrrl, agreed. My ex was African American, and she got no end of shit from stupid Wichita white trash–particulalry about her hair.
As for Rep. Delay, I have a question I want to ask Hank. But I’m holding out for A Thread Of Our Own.
“At the bottom of this we will most likely find that the officer in question is of a Republican bent and was taking an opportunity to abuse his authority.”
This statement takes the “Assinine Statement of the Day” award.
When the inevitable DeLay thread appears and those who are loving the DeLay resignation still end up after yet another election in the “minority.” Is that racist? Or is minority just another term for loser?
Yeah, nojoco, not like they didnt have that bent at SOTU.
They couldnt POSSIBLY make two mistakes in the same year involving well know dissenters.
And I notice up thread that mr. prosecuter, gmc, is supporting law enforcement. Big surprise there.
I think the posts on this thread speak for themselves.
Blow, I am bookmarking that statement to shove in your face after november. Feel free to bookmark mine!
ksfarmgrrl,
BlowJoe really does have nothin’ today, doesn’t he?
The Delay withdrawal is too big a story to keep under wraps. The timing is interesting. Does the second minion caught up in the Abramhoff mess know something the first one did not? You can be sure there is method to Tommy’s actions, but how soon will we find out? Given the Whitehouse’s praise of Delay, I betting that if there is something real smelly going on right now, they don’t know what it is either.
KFG,Two points; may piss you off with both and sorry in advance if I do. The one thing I always marveled at in Western KS was this pervasive idea that African Americans (not the label used west of Highway 183) would at any time come with arms and take over Western KS. I always wanted to ask them what they thought was so valuable out there that this would happen?
Phillip, whom I don’t personally, seems to want to see himself as someone more open to both sides of an argument. I think this is a good trait for an editorial writer. A trait I find forgivable even when I disagree with him.
dos centavos
Those words are mine NOJO
And THANKS! Derision (look it up) from you is high praise to me!
At least I addressed the thread.
Do you have a point to make here or did you just come to read me?
Blow, I’m bookmarking your words right next to those of conservative columnist Hugh Hewitt:
“”A Texas prosecutor with a history of abuse of his office, Ronnie Earle, has indicted Tom DeLay. Earle is a sort of Jim Garrison without the integrity. Soon to follow: Giant MSM coverage, show trial, acquittal and exoneration, DeLay’s return to Majority Leader for another 20 years.”
I see how well THAT prediction went!
Hey DD, you are right about western ks. Heheh. No disagreement there.
I think if you go back and look at the threads that have phillip’s name on them, there is a pattern. He may be playing devil’s advocate, but he is predictable.
Let’s see how many pro-progressive threads he starts! Probably as many as Rhonda will start about how she loves howard dean.
Heheh. We all have our biases, including me.
Yep…racism is alive and well, isn’t it KFG? Especially when posting something like this:
“If it had been some fat white guy with a bad combover with nothing but a flag lapel pin on his suit, no one would have said a thing.”
Care to back up that statement? Or you just going to go on your assumptions that it is true and that you are, of course, always right?
farmgrrl..You ladies should have pulled some strings and got that bozo transferred to Nicodemus! Maybe he would have learned a little repect… it’s amazing how spending alot of time with people you don’t understand leads you to find out that you are pretty much just like them!
Blow, I am also bookmarking David Brook’s comments on Face the Nation.
“BROOKS: Right. There’s the war. There’s really a torpor in the administration. They’re not doing anything right now. I think it’s now likely to move the House–that they will lose the House. And I think House Republicans, privately, most of them admit that. For like a year they were saying, “Well, we’ve got it so sewed up with redistricting. We’ll lose, but we won’t lose the whole House.” I’d say about two weeks ago the conventional wisdom shifted and people said, “We’re in such trouble. We are going to lose the House.”
How do you like your crow, blow? Baked or fried? I just wanna know so I can be ready after the election.
Sheesh…..
Some of you cons (GMC, JOE BLOW, NOJO and raptor……..so far) never bother to address the thread beyond what someone else has said on it.
Can it be you have nothing of relevance to say?
Glad we can help ya get it said I guess.
Gosh, raptor must resemble that remark! :) It is purely my opinion and I did not mean to hold it out as anything else.
I do have a regret about that post though. I wish I had said:
“If it had been some fat PASTEY white guy with a bad combover with nothing but a flag lapel pin on his suit, no one would have said a thing.”
Those guys run things out here. How about there?
It is a shame you can’t read, JR. Did you happen to check any of the first 6 posts on this thread? Obviously not, when you write something that is so ridiculously false, “…never bother to address the thread beyond what someone else has to say..”
You are so judgmental and critical of others, it obviously has clouded your powers of simple observation.
Touche Raptor
You DID address the thread. Gets hard to keep you cons straight.
(clearing my throat)
“I have asserted in error that raptor did not address the thread”
“If it had been some fat PASTEY white guy with a bad combover with nothing but a flag lapel pin on his suit, no one would have said a thing.”
There are so few of the above type of folk, they are so seriously disempowered by our government and society. . . (whimper, whimper, sob, sob) they need our protection!!! Didn’t you know that, KFG. This is Rhetorical Bullshit – 101 (a course subtitled as: the woes of well off overweight white men) in the Republican Academy of Distortion, Hate, and Self-Pity.
Hee hee DD. Good one.
This is a great link regarding bloggers, generalizations, and especially the STAW MAN meme that nathan loves so well. I had no idea it was a meme until I read this:
http://lancemannion.typepad.com/lance_mannion/2006/04/a_rhetoric_of_c.html
GREAT post on opinions. Enjoy if you dare. You’ll see some of all of us in there!
JR, one of the things I really like about you is that you have no problem acknowledging an error, whether advertant or inadvertant. It is the trait of an honest person. I admire that!
That was funny DD!
Raptor caught me in an error. That I guess will be “their” victory of day!
Raptor? I’d duck if I were you. Usually when KFG goes quiet it means she is summoning a ghost.
or a link.
Thanks KFG:)
My ex-wife is from Buckland Kansas, a small town of 800, 30 mins outside of Dodge. I am asian and she was blond, blue eyes, yet i was there several times for weeks and yet no sign of descrimination what so ever. They are just the most frendly people i know. If there were descrimination going on out there, it must be for character, perfonality and attitude, certainly not for one’s skin color, because my is not white.
Hide? Nope..not me.
btw…anyone notice on CNN that this congressperson has a history of such confrontations..including one when Clinton was in the White House?
And..will be REALLY interesting when the security tape is reviewed and released….will be interesting to see her claim (as presented by her attorney) of assault.
Move on folks.
Nothing to see here.
heh, this is thoroughly entertaining.
Ahh..”nothing to see”…since it is a Democrat who slugged a security guard. But…any Republican that so much as jaywalks, and it is BIG NEWS and ‘proof’ that the entire Republican party is bad.
Such blinders, JR. Your grandiose generalizations are getting old.
“SLUGGED a security guard”?
So now it’s “slugged”?
Got any video of that?
Was the obviously savaged guard so badly mauled that he is unable to come forward?
A bigger story is a party in power (the GOP) that puts wannabe pedophiles in charge of homeland security.
We all know that the shrub regime is corrupt and evil but that shouldn’t excuse the TNB of this McKinney clown.
Viva La Revolucion Blanco!!
Raptor, there is no video. The security camera did not record the incident. Do you think cynthia knew that or do you think the guard knew that? Do you think the video might have just gone missing? Like the missing audio caused by the rosemary stretch?
If they had a video showing cynthia was wrong, they damn sure would have shown it by now!
And you are right JR. The stupid guard just “tapped” her on the shoulder, but now she SLUGGED the guard? I WISH THERE WERE A VIDEO.
The guard claims she clocked him with her cell phone. Is there any video detailing the bruises and abrasions the guard received during this vicious cell phone attack? Why do we need concealed carry when so much damage can be caused by a woman with a cell phone?
Good thing the terrorists havent started using cell phones as weapons on capital hill. I dont know why not since they are clearly so deadly in the face of an armed security guard.
And I repeat, these are the same capital keystone cops who arrested Cindy Sheehan and then apologized the next day for their “mistake” that just conveniently kept her out of sight at SOTU. Wonder where cynthia was headed when she was so “unavoidably detained”.
Right. These rent a cops have NO history of arresting people for political reasons. Cynthia has NO history of being harrassed. Not since her comments on the 2000 election. And bushco and the r’s have NO history of dirty tricks on their opponents.
Members are ALLOWED to bypass security. ALL members, not just the r’s. They must have REALLY needed the distraction in the media after all the good news coming out of iraq, delay, abramhoff, the ports, katrina, etc. I mean, we can only stand so much good news!
Hank
This is your thread dude! Post away…
I’m posting here, but including a link over there for Hank. . .
Hank,Cynthia McKinney is outspoken and controversial. Maybe even a little bombastic. She, like Patty Murray, was first characterized as a “mom in tennis shoes” (with gold laces!) by the press. She dared to point out how the Palestinian people are being cheneyed (is that a better word, Hank?–accolades to PL!). It cost her a congressional seat–which she, incredibly, won back 2 years later. In Georgia!
Say what you want about the woman, but the word “stupid” jest don’t apply, ya know?
Oh, there’s a video all right. Who doubts it? And the fact that the DC police haven’t released it ought to say something about what it does and doesn’t show.
Watching the GOP pile on today also tells you everything you need to know about how this is being spun. The icing on the cake is when that pig Delay called McKinney a racist. Heeeee-larious. Can you say, ‘jump the shark’?
A link for those of us who are old, uncool, and can’t remember the Fonz doing this feat.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=jump+the+shark
Satire, dude.
Cool!
You know, I’m old enough, but I didn’t remember Fonz doing that.
Rage, most intelligent people stopped watching the show before he jumped the shark!
That’s a compliment, hint, hint. :)
I remember that episode, they had the coconut out water skiing with his leather jacket on!
Viva La Revolucion Blanco!!!
LOL Ian, that’s the one.
I rememeber that. Sheesh that show doesn’t hold up to well. I tried watching re runs here recently and it was ……..bush.
Daily show this morning said Tom De Lay stole Fonzies hair!
Thanks, KFG! I’m not sure it was “normal” for a teenager but by then (late 70’s?), I was indeed primarily a word nerd. Sci-fi/Fantasy, Scientific American, Omni and Byte magazine (sniff, sniff, I’m SO ashamed!).
{well, okay, I did have friends, and did indeed “part-ay!” and indulge in recreational chemistry–”IT WAS THE 70′S, MAN!”–ahem. . .}
I remember buying vol. 1, issue 1 of Omni. But, then again, it could have been one of those 70’s chemical journeys. Wasn’t that mag published by the same guy who put out Penthouse? As I am recalling it had good articles, but not the good photos PH had.
Correct you are, sir! Even the typesetting was the same. . .kinda weird. Now can you tell me which 1979-80 issue of PH featured the Violent Femmes profile? (maybe I’ll just have to leave a message at their website. . .)
Intrigued by whatever PL’s project is, but I’ll happily sit this one out. But someone should really inform the chicken. . .
While I don’t agree with the Rudepundit’s dismissal of Congresswoman McKinney, I do think he gets this right.
**********************************
“Let’s see if we can hold a few seemingly contradictory thoughts in our heads at once. Yes, Cynthia McKinney is an arrogant, self-aggrandizing shithead who deserves whatever backlash is coming her way. Yes, Tom DeLay is a skeevy cocksucker who has pissed in and poisoned the already-putrid wells of Washington. And both should be treated with contempt and pursued aggressively to show the cynicism and greed – for power, money, and/or attention – that drives them.
But you wanna know where the racism and sexism is here? It ain’t with the Capitol cops (in this case), who are in a crappy position under the stress of terrorism neurosis that pervades everything. It’s with the media, who act with deference towards a white male thrice-admonished alleged felon who has intimate connections with convicted felons and who feel free to attack the black woman who has yet to be charged with anything.
Oh, and that’s not to mention that McKinney’s a Democrat and DeLay’s a Republican.”
rudepundit.blogspot.com
Cynthia is a clear example of a whiney Democrat. I wonder what she’ll complain about next? How about:
Being Black in America
BBIA
LOL!
Rage,
I’ll send you some e-mails tomorrow. I am sure our compatriots won’t mind. In fact, without your work – our knowledge would be less complete.
Regards.
Hee hee
Better living through chemistry!
It was true in the 70’s and true today. The only difference is, the chemistry didnt come from big pharma in the 70’s.
I noticed Cynthia apologized today, which is what many people were calling for on the “I hate Cynthia” thread, to borrow a phrase from the bushies.
When do supposed the people who attacked her in the media will apologize? Or the capital cop?
Or will there just be dead silence since there is no need to distract anyone from the news of tom delay.
I stand by what I said above – STUPID. Now if they all can just stop being stuck on stupid this idiocy can be put to rest.
Her stupidity is a LOT less serious than DeLay’s criminality.
