When will Colbert interview our representatives?

Stephen Colbert of Comedy Central is on a quest to interview every member of the U.S. House, The New York Times reported. And the amazing thing is that lawmakers are agreeing to do the interviews. Why would they willingly allow themselves to be lampooned by Colbert’s fake news show? “At a time when surveys show younger voters turning away from the mainstream media in favor of blogs and late-night television, politicians and their strategists recognize that ‘The Colbert Report’ is a powerful way to reach a swath of Generation Y,” the Times reported. It also noted that “the show reveals an essential truth about Washington: being humiliated on national television can be better than not being on national television at all.”

Maybe if none of our washington delegation will talk, we could send governor leadership to visit with Colbert. I hear she is really good with the national media.

Colbert is insightful and comedic. This requires material that is even minutely interesting.

    Todd Tiahrt? Jim Ryun?

Why interview robots? A session with either of those clowns would be like interviewing a cheerleader for Bush! Rah Rah Rah! Blah BLAH BLAH

Oh but there are Brownback and Roberts……Now Brownback is interesting…..an interview with the folks who burned witches in Salem 400 years ago would also be interesting….but not relevant.

Roberts is ALSO interesting. He has never missed a Senate vote. Hey if you are gonna be a cheeerleader and always wrong, perfect attendance secures you as a major league asshole!

Colbert is the best thing to come along since Monty Python. I LOVE him!
