Hamas is not a “terrorist” organisation but rather distributes food and medical supplies to the destitute Palestinians. A very small percent of Hamas tries to make Israel pay for slaughtering Palestinians, but lacks any real weaponry.

Proof of this is found it the fact the Bush and Rice are trying to cut=off much needed charitable funding. They admit it.

Bush and Rice complain that Hamas won’t recognize Israel. That problem is easy to solve. Hamas only needs to point north and say: “That’s Israel, that big pile of shit right there.”

Now Israel is recognized, what next?

Recognition should be a 2-way street. Israel has refused to recognize the right of Palestine to exist.

Here is a good scatter topic for open thread:

What is an invention you think needs inventing? Is there a sevice that you think people would pay for that is not being met? Do YOU have ideas for an invention or a service? Float ‘em here.

    I’ll get you started.

THink of all the empty, unused rooftops, commercial and otherwise. Wouldn’t it make sense to mount solar panels on these and feed the power collected back onto the grid? Utilities won’t like it but maybe they could get in on it. Maintenance and such.

    That’s my idea. What’s yours?

Israel always does something to put statehood just out-of-reach for the Palestinians. Their favorite is ” not doing enough to fight “terrorism.”

That’s kind of comical because the Israelis are the “terrorists.”

With all the billions we’ve given the Israelis last year, we could have rebuilt New Orleans, complete with a new levee system.

We built the entire country of Israel and made billionaires out of half of them, and between that and their Iraq “war” we’re going broke doing it.

If the Israelis lose being able to claim being “terrorized” they lose being able to suck billions out of the US Treasury.

They’re going to keep their “terrorism” even if they have to blow-up a few US cities to do it.

    9/11 worked like a charm.

    Small arms class.

Nathan and I have scheduled a handgun safety class for Saturday, April 29th. at the Cheney firing range. Time to be determined later, but probably in the morning.

For safety purposes we ask that the only handguns present be the ones we bring.

There will be an instructional period followed by actual hands on firing of the weapons. The class will stress hand gun safety and its purpose is to familiarize the student with handguns enough that they will be comfortable taking a formal class toward qualifying for a CCP. We will have a .38 special and two .45 semi automatics.

Total time will be two to three hours. We’ll supply all of the hand guns, targets and ammo.

We would like to limit the firing participation of the class to 6 people, no more than two firing at a time. Each person firing will be supervised by either Nathan or me at all times.

In the he classroom phase we’ll allow more participants than 6, but actual hand gun firing will be limited to 6, on a first come basis.Let us know if you are still interested.

    XXX,

The concern is safety. I trust you with guns, but if I am going to moniter people it has to be a safe number.

Things get a bit hectic when you are trying to watch the other idiots that may or may not be shooting on the range while you are trying to teach someone and help them too.

I will talk to my army friend. If he can come he will bring a whole assortment of handguns too.

He is my co instructor from many of the other classes we have taught.

A Virginia training manual used to help state employees recognize terrorists lists anti-government and property rights activists as terrorists and includes binoculars, video cameras, pads and notebooks in a compendium of terrorist tools.

The manual, discovered by the Virginia News Source, is keen to emphasize that terrorists are not only Middle Eastern in scope and the main focus is afforded to domestic terrorism.

Included with Hamas, Al-Qaeda and Islamic Jihad, the following groups are identified as terrorist organizations.

In any anti-government and militia movementsAre property-rights activistsAre in any racist, separatist and hate groupsAre an environmental and animal rights activistAre a religious extremistAre in a street ganghttp://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/march2006/280306trainingmanual.htm

The duty officer asked him why he didn’t have a designated driver, as the base required. He answered thst he did. When asked why the designated driver wasn’t driving, and expecting an answer that the designated driver was drunk, the arrested driver calmly informed him the designated driver didn’t have a drivers license, and didn’t know how to drive.

“”At any rate, fearing retribution from my captors, I did not speak freely. Out of fear, I said I wasn’t threatened. In fact, I was threatened many times,” she said. “Also, at least two false statements about me have been widely aired: One — that I refused to travel and cooperate with the U.S. military, and two — that I refused to discuss my captivity with U.S. officials.
