This whole thing with the accident is smoke and mirrors. It really is just a distraction from any questions concerning what Bush&Co. have done or are doing. And it appear to be working well… “Oh a shiny object…owwwww!”. The invasion of Iraq, ignoring Al-Qaeda, going around the law to spy. No wait this is far more important… A hunting accident! Just wait for Fox’s new season, “Vice Presidents who wound!”.I am sure the nation will be gripped with every installment! SHINY OBJECT PEOPLE, LOOK AWAY FROM THE SHINY OBJECT!

I seem to recall Chris Matthews comparing Michael Moore to Osama bin Laden. Comment from the Right Wing Wuss squad? Nah. But Dana Milbank–how dare he!

More to the point, since the White House was playing the shooting for laughs, why shouldn’t reporters? If it’s good enough for the White House, why isn’t it good enough for the rest of us?

Strange you should mention Pennypower, Randy. Heard a rumor to that effect.

Seems they are seeking publications held in strong regard locally for high standards and lack of journalist bias.

Dana Milbank used to report for the Wall Street Journal, is a good writer, and has a wicked sense of humur.

One of my favorite old pieces of his was entitled “A Boy Named Dana”. Maybe you have to develop a sense of humor with a name like that.

By way of the grapevine, I heard Dubbya is planning to vent all the greenhouse gasses to D.C. and keep them hidden until 2008. If discovered, he will say it is part of the war on terror. (by the way, does anyone know where the country of Terror is located)
