White House pulling for Anna Nicole

What to make of the news that U.S. solicitor general Paul Clement, the Bush administration’s top lawyer, has filed arguments on behalf of Anna Nicole Smith and wants a role when her case has a U.S. Supreme Court hearing Feb. 28? Ten years after the death of her late husband, oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II, the topless dancer-turned-punch line is still fighting with his estate over whether she’s entitled to millions of dollars.
Why the White House interest in the case? Most likely, it’s the legal point in question — when federal courts may hear claims that involve state probate proceedings. We can only hope it isn’t because the president has been spending his time watching Smith’s wretched reality show.

Watching Anna Nicole Smith may be the only reality Bush knows. Why question it?

I really don’t see that much to recommend Anna Nicole, but she did put in her time with the old guy and he presumably went out happy, so why shouldn’t she get what he left her?

Run Anna Nicole Smith for Governor of Kansas in the next election. The position is purely ceremonial anyway and Ms. Smith could do a good job in that category. And the campaign would be interesting.

“When I look at her it reminds me of my big “W” campaign bumper stickers” You know those 2 downward pointed curves like the American letter “W”! Besides she has a nice bumper too! We both love Coke! We are both “BIG” in Texsas America! If Laura ever knew? Besides. As President I feel I have to get behind her and give her a little support! It’s my job!Someone has to do it!

ANNA should be made the poster-child for our entire political system. Awful lot of similarities, if you care to look.
