Happy Bill of Rights Day to everyone

The U.S. Bill of Rights was ratified on this day in 1791. And 214 years later, its principles and protections are still being tested and debated — as should happen in a healthy democracy. Whether the issue is the teaching of intelligent design in public schools or the reauthorization of the Patriot Act, the Bill of Rights provides the framework and guarantee for our most cherished freedoms.

    The Bill of Rights

The reason the “Patriot Act” had to be called that is because it’s the most unpatriotic thing that the Neoconservatives { Zionists } have come-up with so far.

A good bill would not need such a high-sounding name.

That “Bill” completely trashes our Bill Of Rights, but what can you expect from George W; Bush who calls the Constitution a G-d piece of paper?

A knuckle-dragging ape could not do more harm to the United States than George W. Bush, and shame of the Congress for not immediately starting impeachment proceeding against that miserable Traitor.

Never in the History of the United States has a traitor and an international criminal been president.

    Never.

It’s ironic that George W. Bush calls the constitution: “It’s just a G-d piece of paper” and then in the next breath said: ” I’m the president, the commander-in-chief ” when the only reason he can say that is because it says that in that G-d piece of paper { his revered reference to the constitution which stipulates there will be a “president” and also will be the “commander-in-chief” }.

Got your wires crossed again ole Bushy-Boy?

Why is he not being impeached?

    Because Democrats aren’t Republicans . . . that’s why he’s not being impeached.

Democrats believe they can actually benefit this country by governing.

Republicans just believe in winning, and they’ve created a machine (media–Fox News and Clear channel; voting apparatus–registration, redistricting, and restrictions; and campaign funding–rich corporations) to make sure they do.

    Galahad

Bush dropped America’s membership in the World Court in the Hague, because Ariel Sharon is scheduledand will be indicted for war-crimes, which the then Israeli government implicated him and relieved him of command.

Bush said that he was concerned that he and war-crimes committed in Iraq would also be prosecuted by the Hague.

Not only is Bush violating International law, the Geneva Conventions, but he’s “on-the-run” as well.

This is almost funny if it wasn’t so tragic.

    Impeach Bush.

Man, the negativity the left oozes forth. Do you people ever smile, other than at the indictment of some moronic Republican? Do you people ever think that you’re still in the greatest country on earth, and you’re glad to be here? Or are you so sullied by what the Republicans are doing that you can’t see the forest for the trees?

Dang, I would hate to live my life in such a dour atmosphere. You people have no sense of humor, and that’s a sad thing: the world is a much better place because of the humorists. Get a life . . . get laid . . . watch the comedy channel.

JM, we’re still in the greatest country on earth–for now.But when our access to information–and our First Amendment rights–are endangered by media concentration and attempts by Demon Cable to force all broadcasters off cable, then you have to wonder how much longer we’ll be the greatest nation on earth. This isn’t a liberal or conservative issue. The hard, ugly truth is that Washington has become the ending to the Jetsons–we (George) take Astro (pick your side) for a walk on the treadmill, the cat (the other side) comes along, the dog goes crazy, then the two retreat to the sidelines and laugh while George makes a fool of himself. We’re all being played…and we need to wake up and do something about it before we lose everything.

JM–I also believe that we live in the greatest country on earth. But “to those whom much has been given is much expected.”

As the greatest country on earth, we shouldn’t be starting unnecessary wars that kill civilians and our own volunteer soldiers. The greatest country on earth shouldn’t take its marching orders from Israel (that was for you, Ed :) or any other country. The greatest country on earth shouldn’t have the worst healthcare in the industrialized world and shouldn’t see its standard of living eclipsed by Europe and Japan.

We ARE the greatest country in the world–that’s why it’s so important that we live up to it.

All he does is gripe, then climb up on the soapbox a lecture the obvious as if he invented it.

    tiresome.

Ed/Galahad,Reread my post: You people do nothing BUT complain. Nobody likes whiners. Get a life . . . get laid . . . watch the comedy channel . . . read your own posts.

Ed, I don’t gripe, I point out the foolishness and ignorance of racists such as yourself.

Now, excuse me, I need a good laugh to lighten up this otherwise dreary atmosphere: I’m going to read one of Gore’s old speeches.

Galahad,I guess our vision of “the greatest country on earth” isn’t built on the Roman model that Georgeus Caesar II adheres to.

I wrote this back in August and it’s still applies today.

    Cindy Sheehan

DMN Rod Dreher’s incessant fear driven rambling about Cindy Sheehan points to only one conclusion: She has the credibility, which George W. {the liar} Bush does not. So why is that? Could it be she’s telling the truth? That would do it.

No greater threat exists to Bush’s house of cards, than Cindy Sheehan knocking them down with nothing more than a puff, a mere breath from the question: Why did you murder my son? That’s happening and the “cards” are beginning to quiver.

More frightening than the answer to that query might come from evangelic/Jihadist Pat Robertson telling his flock: “God told me that George W. Bush has been sent by All-Mighty God Himself to help the Jewish people clear-off the holy lands for the second coming of Jesus Christ.” “Man your Bulldozers.” { He better hurry-up and “take-out” President Hugo Chavez, Jesus might not be too happy about that little “outing”}.

Oil is traded on the open Market. That’s where Oil-Trader’s news travels faster than the speed of light. { In Texas, that’s called “greased light-nin”}.

In order for Jesus to show-up, part of the “clearing-off” means the al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem must come down { Islam’s third most holy site}. Oil Traders figured that on that note, the Middle East will explode, if not from the 1 million Jihadis Iran has promised swarm all over Israel, then probably from Israeli nukes, which the Zionists are all too happy to drop with Bush’s blessing {Iran supplies 60% of the world’s oil or our oil or somebody’s oil}.

Or maybe there’s a simpler answer for all this: Oil Traders, for no particular reason, no supply and demand stuff, just like to pay higher prices for oil. Why pay 9 dollars when you can pay 70 or 200.

You’ll be talking about 3 dollar gasoline, like me and my 14 cents a gallon. But, back then we didn’t kill so many Arabs. You don’t suppose………..naw.

OK, the subject was Cindy Sheehan, so what does she have to do with all this? Cheap Gas, you idiot, and that long road back to it.
