Sometimes the yearbook gets it right

“Sam intends to go to law school and eventually to warm a seat on the Supreme Court.” — Samuel Alito’s self-written entry in the 1972 Princeton University yearbook, which also wryly noted, “He spent his senior year as a Woodrow Wilson scholar, thinking great and ineffable thoughts.”

    Good photo of Mr. Scalito.

But I wonder, why did they airbrush out the horns from his forehead?

Well, the yearbook is right about INTENTION. Doing will be another thing. The Dems won’t give him a free ride. He is too Arch Right. Harriet Miers was just a Bush ploy to make this guy look good. If he does get on the Court, hopefully his opinions won’t be “ineffable” (beyond words or unutterable).

This is really amazing: A person sets high standards and goals for himself in high school, achieves, or is about to achieve, most if not all of those goals and he is blasted for doing so by Liberal wannabees. That in itself, tells me something about what the Liberal left in this country, or at least Wichita, expect from people: Nothing . . . don’t try to raise your lot in life, don’t try to be something, don’t get rich, yadda, yadda. What a disgusting thought. You don’t like his politics? Say so. To denegrate the man for making a plan for his life and sticking to it is something that should be admired, instead we get: “He’s wanted to rule the roost since he was a kid?My God, that’s scary!” and ”

But I wonder, why did they airbrush out the horns from his forehead?”Right on, folks. You really know how to impress. Eat some fish: you need brainfood.
