Just when you think every possible evolution joke has been told at Kansas’ expense, here comes another one. This one in the San Francisco Chronicle’s “Bad Reporter” comic strip declares, “ ‘Stork theory’ to be taught alongside pregnancy theory in Kansas schools,” then concludes, “Avian flu scare forces Kansas to postpone all births.” How can we ever thank the conservative majority on the Kansas State Board of Education for our state image’s extreme makeover? How about by ensuring an ideological board makeover next year?

U MEEN STORKS DON BRING THEM BABYS
You don’t have to thank a heaven sent martyr!Well maybe you do, after all, this is for your own good.
“Storktelligent Design”. Connie Morris and her gang are not only incompetent, they are dangerous.
Teach superstition instead of science. Hire as superintendent someone with absolutely no relavant skills other than a shared belief in superstition. Harming Kansas school children for decades to come.
I sure hope the Kansas BOE is proud of themselves. This is what happens when the fundamental separation of church and state breaks down.
Oops. Typo. Relevant.
I find it rather humerous that Rhonda looks for her BLOG ideas in something called “Bad Reporter”!! LOL!! Birds of a feather flock together (pun intended).
As Kansas continues to be the laughing stock of the country – I reflect on my decision to remain childless and I believe it is the smartest decision I ever made! I am so grateful that I don’t have any children that are being subjected to this nonsense.
Too bad Stork Theory isn’t true. It would be great if no more Kansans were born to contaminate the rest of this country.
Gladim, did any of your mom’s kids live?
Dear “Glad”, we’re glad you’re not in Kansas, too.
Dear “Glad” — “Contaminate” is such a strong word. Have you ever visited Kansas? Do you know anything about the people that inhabit this state, other than what you read/see/hear in the media? We are not all backwards, pea-brained idiots. Really.
Gertie,
I lived in Wichita 4 years so what I know about Kansans comes from experience. BTW I’ve been praying to God for those wasted 4 years back.
