A correction in James Taranto’s “Best of the Web” column for The Wall Street Journal: “The evangelical Christian who has supported Harriet Miers’s nomination is Pat Robertson, not Pat Roberts, as we said in an item Friday (since corrected). Our apologies to Sen. Roberts of Kansas.”

Well, It’s reassuring to know the Senator Roberts of Kansas is not a lunatic.
However, on the other hand, it’s also somewhat disturbing to know that the other one is still running around loose.
No, it wasn’t Pat Roberts that wanted to assasinate Hugo Chavez.Nope, it would be Pat Roberts that would send him out of country to be tortured.
You don’t have to send him out of the country to sit him in front of a TV and make him watch the 700 club.
That would make him change his mind about torture.
What enemy was Roberts consumed with when Many Kansans lost their pensions when Spirit aeorsystems took over?
Charity begins at home!A strong defense begins with a strong America.
Why do you continue to sell us out ….. for pennies on the dollar?
We are so blessed to have leadership that cares!
What does Pat Roberts think about assassinating Hugo Chavez?
I think: “Put a fork in him …. he’s done”
I think the 700 Club should be a mandated part of children’s education. Hugo and his national healthcare, citizen-loving, agenda can burn in heck.
The voice of Pat Roberts is the Voice of God for evangelical America! How dare you insult our Prophet!?
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!
Who says Kansas is bereft of humor? The bloggers on this page are uniformly unfooled. As the son of a 93-year old native of Newton (raised in Hutch), my optimism is much improved up here in Maine after reading these posts.
Fight the good fight, ye faithful!
