The White House is trying harder this week to get Americans to focus on Harriet Miers’ accomplishments. Doing so isn’t being made easier by quotes such as these by Josh Bolten, director of the Office of Management and Budget, in The New York Times: “You know, she’s a very gracious and funny person. I was racking my brain trying to think of something specific.” He added, “She is a very good bowler. For someone her size, she actually gets a lot of action out of the pins.”

Boy, I’d sure love to respond to this one but I just don’t know where or how to start. Ooops… I guess I just did!
But Rhonda, she’s a woman. I thought that you would be happy that a woman is in such a position as Miers, and that her bowling accomplishments would just be icing on the cake.
NoJo–do you think that Rhonda would support any woman for the job because Rhonda is also a woman?
I can’t speak for Rhonda but I’m guessing that as a reasonably intelligent person, she’s looking for a Supreme Court justice who has more than just two X chromosomes.
Gal, I’m teasing Rhonda, don’t interupt.
If she doesn’t get on the supreme court, maybe she can run for Kansas governor, a good bowler is certainly a perfect platform.lol
