    Certainly they both share common foresight in leadership. And both have their Homers.) On the Monday that Katrina struck New Orleans, Chertoff was at a meeting on bird flu. Satellite photos of the Afghan-Pakistan border show what may be chicken houses, apparently operated by Al Queda with plans to introduce bird flu to the U.S.

    I’m convinced – our country is being run by the likes of cartoon characters Alfred E. Newman and Monty Burns! No wonder we are in such a state of disrepair!

    Hey VC,Don’t knock it- the Reagan administration proved the advantages of imaginary leaders. Cartoon characters, unlike real people, can actually be all things to all people, and can be rewritten when they become obsolete. Mickey Rules!
