Wichita’s reputation for being a family-values town doesn’t quite fit its TV viewing habits, according to the May Nielsen ratings’ local Top 10. Can it be that many of the Wichitans who spend Sunday mornings in church see no contradiction in spending Sunday evenings watching two of the steamiest shows on network TV, ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” (No. 3) and “Grey’s Anatomy” (No. 8)?

So tell me Rhonda,
Did those May Nielsen ratings’ actually show that people who were in church on Sunday watched those shows on Sunday afternoon?
Or is this just some of your journalistic speculation?
I think many people think that if they attend church that makes them a true christian. It really is how you live your life.
Agreed Robin.
Having faith in Christ makes you a true Christian.
Those who have faith in Christ will live out their lives with obedience though.
You can’t earn your salvation through works.
And you can’t get to heaven by standing at apodium and preaching hate.
That is true Anon.
What that has to do with this blog? I don’t know…
I gather that watching race-mixing, adulterous skanks is just like watching a car wreck; some folks just can’t help themselves!
