The whole concept of “student-athletes” is a joke for the most part. Most black “student”-athletes are illiterate and a waste of space on camupses!

You must have never played a sport in HS or college. Sports provide a learning experience that can’t be acquired in classrooms. Leadership and courage are two outcomes that participation in sports provides. It also provides a mind-over-body strength that is helpful for years to come after sports are over. Socialization is also a benefit.

Many leader in business, government, military, etc, participated in sports.

Theater and art does have educational value. Usually it is a requirement to take in both high school and College, but Sports is not. You tell me?

I know it’s entertainment, but why are there sports programs in college, and especially high school. Has no educational value and it cost universities and schools way too much money.

It burns my butt that coaches make much more than any professor ever will hope to achieve.
