My elementary school-age son is into "Calvin and Hobbes" cartoons — like father, like son, I guess. He read this strip the other night that fits well with my line of work (click on it to enlarge). Still, for those of us who don’t have superpowers. . . .

    Phillip,I notice the blog comments seem mostly to be used for venting and demagoguery with barely any progress in the meeting of minds.

    Last week, a commenter provided a series of serious and highly effective rebuttals to another commenter, who just blew it off with a “Yah, but I hate Bush, so I’m still against whatever he does, right or wrong.”

    Why bother with that kind of ignorance?
