At the stroke of midnight, many of the 10.8 million copies of J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” will be unwrapped and snapped up. That the biggest blockbuster of the summer of 2005 is a book is something to celebrate. That it will occupy its reader for hours is a bonus both for bored kids and their parents.

Have you ever been so excited and happy that you’re actually high off of your endorphins? This only happens to me when I eat Blazing wings at Buffalo Wild Wings, and when a new Harry Potter book comes out.
MY FINGERS ARE NUMB!!!!!!!! AND I JUST STUBBED MY TOE AND I FEEL NO PAIN!!
YAY! I’m so excited I’m going to IMPLODE!!!
And 21 years old, to boot :)
Hey,I’m in my 60’s, and I’m taking my granddaughter to the midnight booksale tonight to get mine- I just hope there are enough copies so she can have one too!
Not my type of reading but a book that has kids actually wanting to stand in line to get a copy can’t be bad! Happy reading everyone.
It’s nice to see so many kids reading.
But what if that is all they read?
