BTK can’t S-P-E-L-L

Among the many startling revelations that came out of Friday’s briefing by BTK investigators was this: Dennis Rader’s terrible spelling and grammar were not among his ruses. "The fact is that Mr. Rader is a very bad speller. He doesn’t know how to write," said Lt. Ken Landwehr.
And that’s regrettable, if only because after 31 years of sporadic communication, the serial killer suddenly won’t shut up.

Hmm. I like all of you guys at the Eagle and all, but I have to say…he’d be more inclined to shut up if you didn’t write six stories about him every day and feed his ego.

    1. He might shut up if the press would quite printing and showing everyting he says and everything to do with the case.

    2. He’s going to really want to talk after the DA does her “Dog and Pony” show in August.

    3. What does it say about public education that he got through public school and WSU and still can’t spell. Guess the Supreme Court was right when it comes to needing more money for schools.

Remember he is not a brilliant mastermind…Dennis Rader is a sexual deviant.

That was a classic comment and the catch 22 that many non-murderers deal with regarding the press…Press: “Please oh please talk to us (so we can totally rip you later).

I cannot spell to save my life, and my grammar sucks. I might as well just stop writing now, because I am automaticly a retard, and not worthy of this space I am taking up.

Just like an editor, to judge the worth of someone on their use of language. I would think that one could find considerably more to object to in BTK than his spelling, but then I’m not an editor.
