Surprise, surprise

Imagine that — the three conservative Kansas State Board of Education members overseeing public hearings on evolution adopted almost every one of the changes suggested by evolution critics.
Who would have guessed?
If anyone had any doubts that the results of these rigged hearings were foreordained, they shouldn’t now. What a waste of time and taxpayer dollars.

We travel a good deal – outside of Kansas and mostly to the islands. When people ask where are you from? We are loath to answer Kansas, though we love the State, because of the stupid debate over evolution, and/or the USA because of Bush and Iraq. Where we used to be treated with respect because we were from the USA we are now looked upon as war mongers. Osama went to Pakistan you idiot not Iraq ! But of course there is no oil for Haliburton/Cheny in Pakistan.

Blogging may be the last means of open discussion left to the general public..One doesn’t have to accept the Blog..but there may be something of interest or truth that will hold the attention.

So, is Connie Morris a fundamentalist whack job or what? As a liberal, I want to give her a lifetime appointment to the State Board of Education. She makes my job a hell of a lot easier. Next to Fred Phelps and his brood of smiling haters, she’s the best evidence against evolution I’ve seen since moving to Kansas.
