I frankly do not understand why Mr. Rader continues to receive favored treatment. The Carr brothers were never interviewed by the media, nor were they approached about a book about their lives. At the same time, they never once whined publicly their accommodations.

Now the Wichita public is waiting anxiously to see what Mr. Rader will do on Monday. Who cares? His options are limited: plead guilty, waive a jury trial, ask for a continuance, or go to trial. If Rader pleads guilty, folks will probably still wonder why he didn't give all the details of his crimes. Get over it folks. Mr. Rader is not worthy of your attention. Send him to prison and forget him, just like we forget other offenders.

If Mr. Rader were black, he would not receive this kind of attention, would he? Enough said.

Personally, I think it's frankly disturbing! Let's face it! If what the media says is TRUE, and, he's confessed to ALL ten of the crimes in which he's accused; and for which, he is being held in custody - He doesn't HAVE a repuation to defend and protect anymore. And, if the State's got the evidence I'm guessing there is, he doesn't have a hope in hades of being acquitted either!
Then you add to it his whine fest, trash talking the Public Defenders that took his case, whining about his lack of a barber's attention, and referring to himself in the third person? Sorry, but, I wouldn't be TOO shocked if Mr. Rader's gunning for an insanity plea and defense! Any attorney would think that giving an interview as he's done would undermine, and possibly sabotage any defense strategy or plan they've concocted. Then again anyone that could attempt TEN murders has to be several bricks shy of a full load, or hasn't played with a FULL Deck in a VERY long time...- Just my take on it...

I hope Dennis Rader doesn't have a TV in his cell, all the media attention he recieves must be one hell of an ego trip for him.

I did watch KSN last night and heard his phone conversation. Referring to yourself in the third person is strange. I guess it is a way to gloat about yourself to the media.

Especially since the conversation he had, he just complained about not getting a hair cut and some legal paper work and the conditions of the jail.

If he is complaining about things and referring himself in the 3rd, I doubt he will be pleading guilty on Monday when he goes back in to court.
