The first few days of the work week will be sunny and cooler than normal for Wichita in mid-August.
Highs will be in the mid-80s, forecasters say, which is several degrees below the average high for this time of year. Winds will be light out of the north.
Lows will drop to the low 60s. Temperatures could climb to the low 90s by Thursday, with slight chances for rain arriving that evening and stretching through the weekend.
