Autumn’s opening days offer appealing weather for the next several days in the Wichita area.
Highs today will be in the low 80s under mostly sunny skies, forecasters say. It’ll be breezy, with south winds steady in the teens and gusting at times to more than 30 miles an hour.
Overnight lows will slip into the mid-50s, with winds easing slightly.
Tuesday will see those winds shift to the north-northwest, forecasters say, with highs again crawling above the 80-degree mark. Winds will stay below the teens most of the day.
Sunshine and 80s are expected through the rest of the work week, forecasters say.
