Highs will reach the mid-70s under mostly cloudy skies, with south-southeasterly winds gusting to more than 25 miles an hour. Overnight lows will only drop to the low 60s, with chances for rain persisting.
Storms are likely in the area on Tuesday, forecasters say, with highs in the mid-70s and south winds steady in the 20s and gusting to more than 30 miles an hour. The main threat appears to be large hail, though a few tornadoes can’t be ruled out.
Thunderstorms could persist into Wednesday morning, forecasters say, when highs will top out in the upper 40s.
