After a rather chilly start to the week, Wichita will see much warmer temperatures for the next few days.
Highs will be near 60 today under mostly sunny skies, forecasters say, with winds shifting from the north to the south later in the day and gusting occasionally above 20 miles an hour.
Overnight lows may barely dip below 40 under mostly clear skies before still warmer temperatures arrive Thursday. Highs could jump all the way to the mid-70s under sunny skies, forecaster say. Westerly winds will occasionally reach double digits.
Friday could approach 80 degrees before cooler temperatures move in for the weekend, forecasters say.
