The official total for Wichita from the weekend rains will be .77 of an inch, because that’s what fell at the recording site next to Mid-Continent Airport in west Wichita.
But Jabara Airport in northeast Wichita logged more than an inch of rain, and parts of the metro area received nearly 1.5 inches. Here’s a map showing rainfall totals across the 26-county area covered by the Wichita metro area.
