Another round of snow could pass through the Wichita area on Friday, forecasters say, but it should only be light flurries.
Highs will top out in the mid-30s under mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be out of the north, forecasters say, intensifying from single digits to more than 20 miles an hour by afternoon. Gusts could approach 30 miles an hour.
It’ll be cold tonight, with lows in the upper teens. Skies will be partly cloudy, and winds will ease to the single digits.
The weekend should offer a welcome warmup, forecasters say, with highs in the 40s on Saturday and flirting with 50 on Sunday.
