A bit of sunshine and highs in the upper 30s are in the forecast for the Wichita area Wednesday – conditions that will help the thaw continue from this week’s snow storm.
Northwest winds will be in the teens, forecasters say, with gusts approaching 30 miles an hour. Overnight lows will drop to the low 20s under mostly clear skies. Winds persist in the teens, gusting to about 20 miles an hour.
Thursday should offer more sunshine than today, forecasters say, with highs in the upper 30s. Winds will ease into the single digits out of the north.
