Sunshine and warmer temperatures are on tap for the Wichita area today, forecasters say.
Highs are expected to reach the low to mid-50s, with winds shifting from the northwest to the southwest and gusting to more than 20 miles an hour.
Lows tonight will bottom out in the low 30s under partly cloudy skies, forecasters say. Winds will ease, becoming light and variable.
More clouds can be expected on Thursday, forecasters say, when highs will reach the upper 40s. Northerly winds will be in the teens, gusting to more than 25 miles an hour.
A chance of rain and snow arrives Thursday night before sunshine returns on Friday.
