After a Monday that sent a real shiver down Wichita’s spine, today should be more tolerable.
Highs are expected to climb into the upper 40s under mostly sunny skies, forecasters say. Winds will be light and out of the west. Overnight lows will slide to the mid-20s, with mostly clear skies. Winds are projected to shift to the south but remain primarily in the single digits.
Wednesday offers a continuation of the warming trend, forecasters say, but it will be windier as well. Highs will be in the low 50s, with south winds in the teens early and surging into the mid-20s later on. Gusts could top 35 miles an hour.
