Commuters could be dealing with widespread fog in the Wichita area Tuesday morning, forecasters say.
Visibility could be reduced to a half-mile at times, according to the National Weather Service. The fog should lift by about 9 a.m. as winds begin to stir. Those winds will be out of the south and southwest, increasing to the teens and gusting to nearly 30 miles an hour at times.
That will push temperatures in Wichita to the mid-80s under partly cloudy skies, forecasters say. Overnight lows will drop only to the mid-60s, and Wednesday is expected to bring more 80s to the region.
