A warm, windy Wednesday awaits Wichita, forecasters say. But then showers are expected to move in tonight and bring welcome rain to the region.
Highs under sunny skies should reach the low 90s, with south winds in the upper teens gusting to more than 25 miles an hour. Clouds will begin moving in later, forecasters say, and showers are possible after midnight. Overnight lows are expected to drop into the low 60s.
Thursday will be rainy, with highs in the north winds and highs only a few degrees warmer than the overnight low.
