Sunday night’s thunderstorms could linger through the morning before skies begin to clear this afternoon.
Highs should reach the upper 80s today, forecasters say, with northeast winds in the teens and touching 20 in gusts.
Overnight lows are expected to slip into the low 60s under mostly clear skies. Those northeast winds will ease into the single digits.
Tuesday’s forecast calls for partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid-80s. Winds will be out of the east, forecasters say, and gust to nearly 25 miles an hour at times.
A chance of rain returns to the area on Wednesday.
