It’ll be windy, cloudy and warm in the Wichita area today, forecasters say.
Highs should reach the upper 80s under mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be in the teens out of the east, then shift to the south and gain strength later in the day. Those south winds will be in the 20s and gust to more than 30 miles an hour.
Lows tonight will only drop to the low 70s under partly clear skies. South winds will remain strong, blowing steadily in the teens and gusting to more than 30 miles an hour.
Saturday will be mostly sunny, forecasters say, with highs in the low 90s. It’ll remain windy, with gusts topping 30 miles an hour.
Chances for rain arrive Sunday and Monday in the Wichita area, forecasters say.
