Temperatures will be much colder today than they were Monday in the Wichita area, forecasters say.
Highs will only hit the mid-30s, about 20 degrees lower than yesterday. North winds will be strong first thing this morning, then ease as the day stretches out. Those winds will top 20 miles an hour this morning, then diminish to single digits by afternoon.
Overnight lows will dip into the upper teens, and forecasters say Wednesday is expected to offer more sunshine and highs in the upper 40s.
