The work week could start with a few sprinkles in the Wichita area this morning, forecasters say.
But then clouds should begin to break apart, with highs reaching the mid-90s. South-southeasterly winds will be rather light, pushing into the low teens.
Overnight lows will dip to the mid-70s, with south winds staying in the low teens. Tuesday will be sunny and hot, forecasters say, with temperatures climbing near 100. Wednesday could well add to Wichita’s total of triple-digit days.
