Wichita weather: A bit of morning frost, then a warm, cloudy day

Patchy morning frost can be expected in the Wichita area through mid-morning, forecasters say, and then temperatures will warm into the 60s under slowly clearing skies.

Winds will be light out of the north and northwest. Temperatures will dip into the 30s again tonight, setting the stage for more patchy frost overnight.

Highs on Tuesday will be warmer still, reaching the upper 60s. South winds will be in the single digits early and then intensifying later in the day to the upper teens. Gusts will approach 30 miles an hour.
