No, winter’s not making a comeback in the Wichita area – but today may make people wonder.
Cloudy skies, chilly temperatures and a light, drizzly rain will not remind anyone of spring, forecasters say. Highs will only be in the mid-40s, with north winds of up to 15 miles an hour. The rain won’t amount to much, though.
Tonight’s low will dip just below freezing, and Wednesday will continue the cloudy, cool trend. Highs will again be in the 40s, with a chance of rain. More showers are possible Thursday, but temperatures will begin warming toward more seasonal norms. Highs could reach 60 on Thursday and 70 on Friday, when skies are expected to clear.
