The old joke goes, “If you don’t like the weather in Kansas, just wait 15 minutes.”
I thought of that as I shivered on Monday, after we saw the noon temperature drop 28 degrees from the same time on Sunday. Actually, the temperature fell more than 30 degrees from the record high on Sunday afternoon to the reading at noon on Monday.
I haven’t had a chance to pore over data to determine whether that plunge is any kind of a record, but it’s worthy of mention.
