Another pleasant day for Wichita as June bids farewell

Wichita’s pleasant weather week continues today, with highs in the upper 80s under mostly sunny skies.

Winds will be stronger, though, blowing out of the east in the teens, with gusts of more than 20 miles an hour. Overnight lows should slip into the mid-60s, forecasters say, and Thursday is expected to be much like today: highs in the upper 80s, with east winds in the teens and gusting to the mid-20s.

    Good job Stanley! I can empathize with your need to balance your creation and ownership of good weather, yet reining it in at the request of the “big Eagle” (wink, wink) – understandable. The only flaw I do see in the weather is the rise in the wind speed. Without going through a lot of investigation, I can tell you that the wind culprit is a jealous, undermining forecaster, most likely from the National Weather Service, who’s intentions are to make you look bad going into the 4th of July holiday. We’ve dealt with his kind before. He belongs to the same group that ensures that gas prices mysteriously go up around the holidays when people do a little more traveling. The Moefoe will back me on this. I wouldn’t go as far as to say that this forecaster is related to the Maggotpunk, but it is very likely that he is a Democrat. Stanley, you keep on doing what you do and don’t let this evil distract you. This is something that me and the Moefoe have been trained to take care of. When it comes to the Bravefart taking care of big wind is my business. Will get back to you. Salute!

    Yes, another great day – awesome forecast Stan! I personally don’t mind a little blow from the east…of course, I don’t mind a little blow from the north, south, or west either. A little blowing is good – seems to release that atmospheric pressure – cleans out my head so I can think clearer. You certainly are correct about the gas prices getting jacked up around holiday weekends Bravefart, but I think you may be getting a little paranoid about this jealous wind culprit forecaster thing – I must say very philosophical though (see that big word). Step outside a minute. Feel the breeze – doesn’t a little blow feel good? Now, a raging wind like we typically see here in Kansas is a totally different story all together. That kind of blowing I do NOT like…it’s got to be just a gentle soft breeze to really be relaxing. Peace out! Oh, I think Raging Jackson would definitely take out Maggotpunk – hands down!

    don’t you mean “with highs in the upper 80′s…”? I know it seems a bit abnormal to have a high of only 88 but nice just the same.

    I’ve taken you for granted. You are absolutely right on this one. I’m being overprotective of the Oracle. But you have to understand that this is new to me too. I’m still getting used to his powers. Take for instance ashkan there, questioning Stanley about whether he meant the upper 80s or the upper 90s? Gall darn it, if the Oracle Phalange Major says upper 90s, by golly that’s what it’s going to be, unless some National Weather Service Oracle-Wanna-be sabotages the forecast! People need to step forward and believe in the power of the Finger. On another note Moefoe, we’ve got to hunt down that gas man, smoke him out, and bring him to justice before the 4th. It’s like that show “48 Hours” – the clock is gonna start ticking soon… And I think you’re right about Quentin taking the Maggotpunk too – give him a bare naked choke he’d never forget – I’d like to see it!     Looks like Stan said “highs in the upper 80s” to me. Are ashkan and Bravefart off their medications again? Please DO NOT EVEN try to suggest that the Devine Almighty Oracle has changed His original forecast. I think ya’ll may need some reading glasses. Just joshin’! Stan is definitely the weather Oracle of all time and Bravefart blows like no other. We should probably nickname Fart the Almighty BS Blower.     I blew it alright – upper 80s is correct – hate getting on a cause, start harping and hooting, and then find out I read or heard something incorrectly. Must have woke up with anal cataracts this morning. You ever get those Moe? You’ll know if you get them – basically the symptoms are that it’s hard to get your butt out of bed in the morning and have to put up with other people’s poo. Hope I’m better tomorrow.
