There’s a slight chance of thunderstorms this morning in the Wichita area, forecasters say, but storm-frazzled residents of the region should get a welcome break today.
Skies should gradually clear today, with highs climbing to the mid-60s. Northerly winds in the teens will be in the low teens, with occasional gusts to about 20 mph.
Overnight lows will be unseasonably cool, dipping into the mid- to upper 40s under mostly clear skies. Friday should be mostly sunny, with highs in the low 70s. But more storms are predicted for Friday night and through the weekend.
