Snow flurries are being reported in Wichita as another blast of arctic air settles over the metropolitan area.
Forecasters say the high temperature won’t climb out of the 20s today – meaning Monday’s high won’t even be half of Sunday’s balmy 55. Blustery north winds will be steady in the 20s, with gusts of more than 30 miles an hour. Those winds will push wind chills below 0 at times in the area.
Lows will dip into single digits tonight, with wind chills dropping below 0. North winds will remain robust, forecasters say.
Tuesday will remain cold, with highs in the upper 20s. Wind chills will again fall below 0.
