The strong storms have moved east, but the Wichita metropolitan area can expect a gray, drizzly afternoon.
The hail and strong winds stayed south and east of Wichita, hitting Sumner, Butler and Cowley counties instead.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible this morning and early this afternoon in southcentral Kansas, forecasters say.
Some of the storms could be strong, with nickel-sized hail and winds of 50 miles an hour.
Highs should reach the low 70s, with southerly winds in the teens. Gusts will surge beyond 25 miles an hour.
Wednesday could see more storms, especially southeast of the Kansas Turnpike.
