Sigrid Trombley shot some quick photos of the storm clouds and wind damage at Lake Waltanna, south of Lake Afton.
Weather officials said strong winds were reported in the Lake Afton area Thursday night, though they were not related to the powerful thunderstorms that hit Andover, east Wichita and portions of Sedgwick County.
