….and it’s not over yet. Numerous tornadoes have been reported in Tennessee – reports indicate Murfreesboro, not far from Nashville, has been hit by a large tornado – and Kentucky has seen touchdowns as well.
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a rare high risk zone for tornadoes in an area covering northern Alabama, southeastern Tennessee and northwestern Georgia.

More tornadoes are posssible in the southeastern United States. The Storm Prediction Center has upgraded the threat to a moderate risk in parts of five states: Tennessee, Alabama, North and South Carolina and Georgia.
A mixture of rain and light snow is expected in the Wichita area as the work day gets under way today.

Skies should clear as Friday unfolds, forecasters say, and highs should reach the upper 50s. North winds will be brisk this morning, gusting to more than 30 miles an hour, before easing into the low teens later in the day.
Saturday should be mostly sunny, with a high in the 60s, forecasters say, but Easter Sunday looks to be rainy in Wichita as well as much of central Kansas.
